Thinking about Packaging Distribution Companies & Cardboard Packaging Machine

"It's the same old tissue, honey, it doesn't make a distinction, ok? It's still going to work the same way", my exasperated spouse hissed into my ear as I got cartons after containers of some 'designer' tissue. DESIGNER TISSUE! Hah, can you even hear me state that? I can't believe I really composed 'designer tissue'. So, yes, for a graphic designer and writer who understands everything about the kind of effort one puts into product packaging and branding products, I sure fell for it. All the hoopla. The shenanigans. The 'suck 'em in with great copy and fab color combination'. Hey, I am still a customer, bear in mind that. I am entitled to fall for good product packaging, I have a dominating right to be human.

However they are so quite ... the product packaging. I swear!

They have the 'nature lover' packaging, the 'fruity' packaging, the 'woman on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging. I grabbed 4 of each design packages and made a run for the counter with them with my shouting kids and exasperated spouse pursuing me in sluggish movement. It was certainly a 'die-hard' minute. You know, when the hero is fleing from a bunch of wild bad men with gatling gun, and they're shooting at your feet or something ... and there's an explosion behind you ... and whatever takes place in ssslllloooowwwww mmmmooooottttttiiiioooonnnnn.

Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with fancy product packaging designs on them. If I didn't like the product packaging develops so much, I would find it funny enough. I am dead serious. In reality, I loved the packaging designs so much, after consuming all the tissues in the boxes, I would eliminate the styles and position it into my 'should keep for referral' clear folder. I do not keep a lot of things in there since I am pretty selective about the styles that I like, but these packaging designs made it. They definitely did.

You see, this is the kind of thing that occurs when you put some effort into making your product packaging design. Yeah, we all have this in the back of our heads ... "Hey, it's PACKAGING! It's what's INSIDE that count. They're going to THROW the PACKAGING away. So, why invest so much loan on the packaging?" Perhaps you're likewise thinking that the cash should go towards developing much better quality items ... for faster shipment choices ... or maybe the cash should go towards spending prospective customers to costly suppers in Italian restaurants. It's your call, really.

The more effort you put into developing your product packaging, more customers will stop and take a look at your product packaging or what's inside the packaging. Now, does it make sense for me to say now that when they stop and take notice of your product packaging, your possibility of getting them to buy your item boosts?

You see, the function of packaging is to grab the customer's attention. And without an electrifying product packaging, consumers are going to walk past the stacks and loads of other rival products ... and yours ... without even knowing you're there! Your product is sitting there on a rack, for goodness sake, and the only weapon you have is to have a great packaging. Once they stop and have a look, you've won the very first round.

Consider it!
